Week 12 Menu Plan

Featuring more salad greens, basil, parsley, potatoes, summer squash, and more strawberries


The change of the season brings us beautiful basil and parsley, and a new recipe to combine them with broccoli. Lots of salads again this week, with lettuce, salad mix, radicchio, radishes from last week, multi-color carrots and maybe some leftover basil and parsley. The new potatoes will be delicious roasted with parsley from the farm share or rosemary from our garden.

We're going to a potluck on Saturday, so I'll be chocolate-dipping strawberries again. I hope to post an update to my June 21 post that expands the recipe to dipped strawberries for 30 people! These never seem to be unpopular at potlucks.

Veggie burgers with homemade catsup

Kale hot salad with balsamic and chili oil

Turkey burgers
Roasted potatoes with parsley and/or rosemary
Steamed summer squash
Strawberries and cream, or strawberry shortcake

Saturday
Lunch: leftover turkey burgers & leftover veggies
Dinner:
Potluck, bring chocolate-dipped strawberries

Sunday
Baked chicken
Lemony baked broccoli
Braised (slow cooked) red cabbage
Salad
Strawberries or strawberry shortcake

Monday
Leftover chicken & veggies
Salad

Tuesday
Leftovers
